Ceramic Jewelry Holders by Rila
Name: Dana Bodourov
All ceramics are hand built in Brooklyn and are one of a kind works.
I have two cats, one of which does not coexist with my plants very well. Her name is Bijou, she is a beautiful all grey cat, and she is very mischievous. She loves to destroy or eat plants and things in general. Most of my plants have their pots taped to the shelf or wall so she can’t knock them over. Hanging plants are ideal. My other cat is named Orlando and he is an angelical polydactyl rescue cat from South Florida who loves to cuddle.
I prefer polaroid photos over digital. I use digital cameras like everyone else, but aesthetically I prefer the way film looks and the nostalgia of having a physical print in my hand. I also really enjoy an old photo booth that still uses film.
This is sort of embarrassing, but the first song I thought of is “Horsin’ Around” by Prefab Sprout on the album “Steve McQueen” that makes me dance. At the first listen I thought the song was SO cheesy but my boyfriend would play it all the time and it really grew on me. The more you listen to this song, the better it gets. The second song I thought of is “This is how we do it” by Montell Jordan.
My favorite Pamela Love piece that I love seeing around the studio (because I don’t actually own it yet) is the gravitation earrings. I love the simplicity and uniqueness of the design. It’s different from the norm but still subtle. I especially am in love with the opal and pearl styles!
